Affiliate Disclosure
Warm Home Notes currently has no affiliate shopping links. This page explains how future eligible commission relationships would need to be disclosed.
Prepared
Current status
This edition of Warm Home Notes contains no affiliate shopping links and does not earn referral commissions through these pages. We do not claim enrollment in Amazon Associates, Awin, Impact or any other affiliate or merchant program.
Links to manufacturer instructions, candle safety guidance and public policy resources are informational references. They are not presented as authorized merchant promotions or evidence of a partnership.
Possible future participation
Warm Home Notes may apply to relevant affiliate programs in the future. Only after an actual relationship is established should the site publish eligible links under that program's terms. This page must then describe the real arrangement rather than imply a relationship that does not exist.
Where accurate for a future relationship, a plain-language disclosure could explain that a purchase through an eligible link may result in a commission at no additional cost to the reader. That is an example of future wording, not a statement that such links are currently in use.
Disclosures near the content
If affiliate links are introduced, a clear disclosure should appear close to the relevant recommendation or link so readers can understand the relationship before acting. A footer link to this page alone should not be treated as sufficient for every placement.
The FTC's endorsement guidance explains why material connections should be clear to readers. The actual wording and placement must reflect the relationship and context. This draft is not a legal certification.
Editorial and advertising boundaries
We do not fabricate first-hand testing, rankings, reviews, prices or merchant authorization. Future recommendations should distinguish supported product specifications from general advice and should disclose relevant commercial connections.
Before using paid search, merchant trademarks, brand keywords or direct-link advertising, confirm the actual merchant and program terms. Participation in one program does not authorize every advertising method. No content on this site claims that an affiliate platform or Google Ads has approved the website.
Read our About page for the current editorial approach and our Privacy Policy for the current website features. Both need updating if commercial or tracking practices change.
